🚨🚨🚨 THE STUDENT CONTRIBUTION FEE IS INCREASING 🚨🚨🚨

Minister for Higher Education James Lawless has confirmed today that the student contribution fee will be returning to €3000! An increase of €1000 on what it has been the last few years. This will coincide with the government scrapping the energy credits the Green Party brought in to help people with the cost of living.

THE COST OF LIVING CRISIS IS NOT OVER

Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and Michael Lowry’s Independents will be breaking a commitment of the Programme for Government to reduce fees, and a commitment from Fine Gael’s election manifesto to phase out the student contribution fee. This government has only been in power for 156 days, with up to four more years of promises left to be broken.

It’s time to take action, call your local TDs and tell them we won’t stand for this…
