About
The Trinity Branch of the Young Greens was re-established in 2019 by a committed group of activists. Our main priorities are to spread awareness on environmental problems and policies, promote affordable housing and defend human rights. Our events in the 2022-2023 school year included but were not limited to: visiting the Dail, hosting political party meetups, and coffee hours. We also have weekly meetings in which we discuss current policies and political situations.
The email invites to these meetings normally include a few facts on new environmental discoveries or studies that keep everyone updated. We also canvass with Green Party Candidates during elections and attend events with other Young Green College Branches.
Who we are
With over 30 members our membership is highly diverse and welcoming, comprising students from all walks of life who want to fight for a better future for everyone.
Currently our chairperson is Lilia Sawyer, our secretary is Finn Pierotti, and our treasurer is Maryann McDonnell.
